Sarnia Dream Home Tour Begins
Bluewater Health Foundation is celebrating the 20th year of the Dream Home Lottery in the Sarnia-Lampton community. In all, the lottery has raised more than $5.5 million dollars for our community hospital Bluewater Health.
Every year the foundation relies on builders, suppliers, volunteers, local businesses and ticket buyers who have supported the Dream Home lottery, and they are extremely grateful for everyone involved.
The Volunteer Chair of the Dream Home committee, Marg Hendra, said, “The lottery would not be the success it is each and every year without the generosity of so many. To celebrate our 20th anniversary, we are excited to share that we have a bigger prizeboard with so many chances to win!”
The 20th Dream Home is being built by Doug Bain and John Oravec of Key Homes, which is located in Sarnia, Ontario (picture above).
This year the home is valued at $435,000 and to celebrate the 20th anniversary, will also include appliances, electronics and furniture worth around $80,000.
This year’s winner has the choice of keeping this beautiful home fully furnished with furniture, electronics and appliances or taking the cash prize at $300,000.
