As the above sales to inventory graph shows Sarnia's current market is a Buyer's market due to the excess supply of homes for sale. Sarnia is currently working our way towards a balanced market with inventory coming down slightly as homes are being sold with a busy spring market. With the current mild weather home buyers are out in full force which will mean that many more houses will sell before the summer hits and the market starts slowing down again. If you are a seller I would hurry up and get your house listed as this is the busiest time of year with the most Buyers on the hunt for new homes. I am hoping we will hit a more balanced market in the next couple months but my prediction is we will come up a bit short and it will continue to be a Buyers market.
